At Böschen USA, we are looking for an Assistant Retail Property Manager to support the maintenance coordination, daily operations, and administrative aspects of our retail property portfolio in Houston (Postal Location). As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Real Estate Maintenance Manager to join our internationally operating team.
Your Role
As an Assistant Retail Property Manager, you’ll work closely with the property owner to support the smooth operation and upkeep of a retail property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include coordinating daily maintenance tasks, handling vendor communications, and managing a wide range of administrative processes including lease compliance, documentation, and expense tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs across multiple retail properties.
  • Conduct property inspections and document findings for follow-up.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
  • Support compliance with lease agreements, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain organized administrative records including contracts, permits, and service reports.
  • Track budgets and expenses, and assist in financial reporting.
  • Process and document tenant requests and service issues.
  • Provide general support to the property owner and collaborate with the leasing and management teams.
  • Handle administrative duties, including reporting, document management, lease compliance, and financial tracking.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate maintenance management, retail property management, or commercial property operations.
  • Strong administrative skills, including budgeting, documentation, and compliance tracking.
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes, vendor management, and contract oversight.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to maintenance requests.
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi, MRI, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel within the Houston area for site inspections and meetings.
What Sets You Apart
  • Experience supporting a retail or commercial property portfolio.
  • Knowledge of lease administration and compliance processes.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
